The School of Mathematics is a research-led School in Cardiff University, one of the UK’s leading universities, with a reputation for internationally excellent research and high quality teaching. There are five main research groups in the School of Mathematics: Analysis and Differential Equations; Applied and Computational Mathematics; GAPT: Geometry, Algebra, Mathematical Physics and Topology; Operational Research; Statistics. The School currently has over 500 undergraduate students and over 100 postgraduate students.
