Continuing an ambitious long-term plan, which includes expansion into part of the new £40M Bayes Centre, the School of Mathematics is making a number of permanent appointments in the Mathematical Sciences.
As part of this development, we are recruiting in Applied Probability to start on 1 August 2018 or by agreement. We are seeking candidates with a track record of high quality research, and are looking for those who wish to pursue interdisciplinary research with links to other fields, for instance Computing, Engineering or Finance, or links to industry or commerce. As well as carrying out high quality research, the successful candidate will contribute to the teaching of undergraduate courses and to the teaching and further development of our successful MSc programmes in Mathematical Finance.

Salary Scale: £39,992 – £47,722 per annum. Very strong and experienced applicants may be appointed to a Readership, for which the salary is £50,618 – £56,950.
