There is a post-doc position in the Probability and Finance research group at the Dept. of Mathematics in Padova. We received funding for this position rather unexpectedly, and the application deadline is very tight: April 17, 2025 (for a contract starting on May 15, 2025).

The position is for two years, with a gross salary of 40.000 euros/year, no mandatory teaching duties (but possible, with an additional contract). A PhD degree is required. Our Probability and Finance research group includes 15 faculty members, covering most topics of modern probability, including mathematical finance, stochastic control and related areas (https://www.math.unipd.it/en/research/research-areas/mathematics/probability/).
