The Department of Mathematics and Statistics in the Faculty of Science at the University of Calgary, seeks outstanding candidates for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level, to start on or after 1st July 2016. Qualifications include a Ph.D. in Mathematical Finance or a related area. We welcome applications from candidates who will be able to work in the area of energy, commodity and environmental finance. The successful candidate will add to our existing strength in financial mathematics and join our Mathematical and Computational Laboratory, and will have the opportunity to develop collaborations with faculty in Electrical Engineering, Economics and the Finance group in the Haskayne School of Business.
