The Department of Mathematics and the Data Science Institute at Imperial College London seek applications for a joint lectureship (equivalent of US Assistant professorship), a permanent appointment to start in 2017. Candidates will have a PhD (or equivalent) in Statistics or a closely related discipline, and will have research interests at the intersection of statistical science or data science.  Candidates must be able to demonstrate a strong research record. Some experience of teaching at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level across a range of subjects in Statistics, and a track record is essential. It is also essential that candidates are able to show evidence of the ability to secure research funding and sustaining a vigorous research programme.
