The Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science in the Faculty of Mathematics at the University of Waterloo invites applications for three definite-­term lecturer positions. These appointments have an initial term of three years (possibly renewable) with an expected start date of September 1, 2017. Candidates must possess a graduate degree in an area of actuarial or statistical sciences. Professional actuarial qualifications and experience would be a distinct asset. Applicants must have excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to undergraduate education, and ideally at least one year of teaching experience in statistics or actuarial science. Duties will include teaching six courses per year and service/administrative work within the University.
