The Department of Applied Mathematics at the University of Washington invites applications for a temporary postdoctoral position in computational or mathematical finance, starting September 16, 2018. This full-time temporary Research Associate position is renewable for a total duration of three years.
Successful applicants are expected to engage in research and teach up to 3 one-quarter courses each year of the appointment. It is expected that both courses will be in the department’s Computational Finance and Risk Management (CFRM) Master’s program, see and
Requirements include (1) background and interest in many aspects of computational or mathematical finance; (2) a PhD in mathematics or applied mathematics or another area relevant to computational or mathematical finance; (3) an ability and affinity for communicating ideas of finance, in both research and teaching settings.
