Job description:
Academic research in the area of the International Research Training Group 1792 “High Dimensional Non-stationary Time Series” to obtain a PhD degree.
Requirements:
- completed degree of university education (Magister, Diploma, Master’s degree) in mathematics, statistics or economics (with above-average grades)
- willingness for a at least six months research stay at Xiamen University (People’s Republic of China)
- very good command of English (TOEFL scores, institution code: 8167, department code: 84 or IELTS, except if your native language is English or if you earned a previous university degree from an English speaking program)
- GRE highly recommended
