The Industrial Engineering Department at Northwestern University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty appointment at the assistant to full professor level to begin September 2014.  Applicants should hold an earned Ph.D. or be near completion of their doctoral studies with demonstrated research potential in the domains of big data analytics, optimization, stochastic modeling or simulation.  Industrial experience is desirable; a strong commitment to rigorous and relevant research is essential.
