Tilburg School of Economics and Management has a position available for: Tenure Track Assistant Professor Quantitative Finance.
An assistant professorship is a tenure track position for six years. Candidates in all areas of Actuarial Science, Financial Econometrics, Mathematical Finance, Quantitative Finance, or a related field will be given serious consideration. The position offers ample opportunities to do research as it carries a light teaching load (approximately one course per semester). After at most five years a tenure decision is made. The assistant professor is appointed at the Department of Econometrics and OR at the Tilburg School of Economics and Management. Tilburg offers competitive European salaries. Moreover, researchers from outside the Netherlands can apply for tax-free allowance equal to 30% of their taxable salary. The University also offers a generous pension scheme. The School will provide assistance in finding suitable accommodation and in other relevant relocation issues.
