The Department of Mathematics at Bowdoin College invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of assistant professor starting Fall 2014. We seek applications from applied mathematicians whose research interests touch on both the pure and applied aspects of their specialization. Areas that would particularly complement current faculty expertise include, but are not limited to, stochastic processes, dynamical systems, and spatial models. The Mathematics Department strongly encourages a rich interplay between theoretical mathematics, applied mathematics, and statistics.
