The Department of Statistics and Applied Probability at the University of California, Santa Barbara invites applications for Visiting Assistant Professor faculty positions in Financial Mathematics/Actuarial Science for the 2019-2020 academic year (with the possibility of renewal up to 3 years), with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2019. Applicants must have completed all requirements for a PhD (or equivalent) except the dissertation at the time of application and should have completed their PhD (or equivalent) by the time of appointment. Successful applicants will demonstrate or show strong promise for undergraduate teaching, collaborative research and synergies with UCSB Statistics and Applied Probability faculty.
